A friend of mine recommended that I read this book and it provides a very compelling insight. That insight is simply this, freedom is the reason for our progress. There has been no place in recorded history except the U.S that has harnessed human energy to foster progress. For 6000 years humans have suffered from mass hunger yet in American history, hunger and famine are not problems. The poor in the U.S. today have about the same house hold amenities as the middle class did in the 1950’s.
By the way, delegation doesn’t have to be a staff of assistants who work for you. It can simply be having someone help you with any responsibility you might have when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Help may come from peers, other departments, friends, interns, your spouse, or even your children (please consult the child skiljeförfarande in your state first).
Here is a great time management concept: Every time you say “YES” to something in your life, you are saying “NO” to everything else. Similarly every time you say YES to someone in your life you are saying NO best labor laws to everyone else.

In regards to the structure of the Model WHS there are four things that WA is NOT going to accept. This means that there will be gaps in the Model Law from the other states. So the plan is to make sure that the numbering is the same across Australia – that sounds like a very sensible idea. One of the things that is not being accepted in WA is Workplace entry by WHS entry permit holders. This is not an issue as this is already covered in the Labor relations act and WA has made it clear that they are not going to repeat this in case it causes confusion. This makes sense to me. When talking about the structure of the Model WHS Regulations everything is covered, just shifted around or has been re-structured under the Codes of Practice.
The other thing you have to consider with this method is whether you are an employee or an independent contractor. I preferred being an employee because they take your taxes out for you and offer some benefits. Independent contractors have to set aside money from every paycheck for taxes and usually have no benefits.
In every government subsidized program including banking, medicine, education, agriculture fiat money looks like a panacea. The results however are always tragic. Poverty and chaos ultimately ensue and powerful special interests demand a bailout from the very victims of the fraud.
So, do involve your home team in the everyday tasks of life. The kids will learn life lessons they’ll never forget and you’ll all have more time to spend enjoying time off from work doing fun stuff that makes it all worthwhile.
