The law of attraction states that you can influence your future. It is believed that any event, action or people who enter our life are influenced by our actions and emotions. The law of attraction defies, the concept of life events just occurring, it states that you make all of them occur yourself. The type of energy that you create, within yourself will influence the kinds of events that take place in your life. The law of attraction can and is used in various parts of people lives. People use it in their personal lives and for businesses to establish relationships, and I am one of those people.
The problem with Internet advertising for this general practitioner lawyer is, it costs money every time someone clicks. If a lawyer working by him or herself in Fresno California tries to advertise to people searching, bankruptcy, personal injury, divorce, tax problems, litigation, contract disputes, real estate law, workers compensation and trial law, the lawyer will go broke before anyone ever can write them a check. The keyword bid for “personal injury attorney” is as high as $15.00 per click in some cities. I have seen single keywords like lawyer go for $20.00 per click.
While this may sound strange to some people, this is where the 80/20 rule kicks in. The service manager is trying to get all the business and the GM is trying to get the right business. Every time I coach a small business owner, their financial issues are fixed by simply changing their focus to getting the right business. If you can do 80% of the work that you are doing now, and get a pay raise would you do it? Of course the answer is yes, so why don’t you?
Law of Uniqueness- What’s your niche? Do you even know what makes you unique? Brand yourself not just as an expert but as the best at what you do. Show your contacts how you and your business stand apart from all the other fish in the ocean.
Just because we live in the physical world, we experience the impact of these laws everyday. We as humans often feel we are exempt from the consequence if we ignore the laws. A business owner needs to keep these laws in mind and apply them to their advantage.
Distinct concept: Many DUI law firms if not all have business cards. In my opinion most of the business cards I have seen from fellow DUI Attorneys are boring, plain, and simple. In today’s day and age owning and operating a DUI law firm is very competitive. Having a business card that sets your apart will help you stand out from the competition. Having a distinct concept is one aspect of this. Different colors, fonts, and designs help accomplish this.
